“Photographing and filming at the Lodge was a wonderful experience for my team and I.
We needed a space that felt private and nice. The Lodge was the perfect spot for this,” said Michaela Potterbaum, international photographer and founder/owner of Promise Mountain (www.promisemountain.com).
Michaela and her team rented McGavock Hall on a weekday afternoon for a portrait session and the filming of a promo video for Promise Mountain. Professional photographers like Michaela love the abundant natural light and the many open spaces that can be used in the Lodge. The Lodge allows for simultaneous shoots to be set up, while still allowing plenty of space for the photography team to take breaks on the soft couches and get snacks at the built-in buffet and rustic bar.
“The space is beautiful and as an artist, it’s the perfect spot to work. The staff at the Lodge were extremely accommodating and friendly! We even stayed a bit beyond closing time and they were really kind about making room for us to do whatever we needed to finish our shoot as needed.”
“One of my favorite elements about the Lodge is its convenient location. Just a few minutes off I-65 and really close to Whole Foods as well the Factory in Franklin. My experience as a whole was really positive and I look forward to using the Lodge for future shoots and even as a workspace. The co-working space is great for working without feeling the distractions of a typical coffee shop vibe or my home office.”
Michaela and her team not only loved doing photography shoots in the space but they have decided to become Members of the Lodge in the fall, enjoying the co-working side of The Lodge Franklin.
“The space is beautiful; why not work in all of that beauty?” laughed Michaela.
