Engagement Party at the Lodge Franklin

With a name like “The Lodge,” it was only a matter of time until someone tried camping out

When Gregg and Suzanne Tipton’s daughter Courtney became engaged to her boyfriend, Luke,
the Lodge was their first choice for an engagement party – and because the couple loved the
outdoors, the party was camping themed.

“Courtney had been following the Lodge on Instagram for a long time and was just crazy about
the fabulous rustic décor,” Suzanne said.

“So when her boyfriend told me he was proposing to her, I knew exactly where to go for the engagement party.”

Courtney’s sister designed a camper cake, flowers were added to the York Room and Cameron Room, and appetizers were strategically placed to allow guests to mingle throughout the Lodge.

“The rustic décor and modern farmhouse furnishings made decorating a breeze,” Suzanne said.
“All we needed was fresh flowers and the food.”

Guests requested tours and loved relaxing on the tufted Restoration Hardware couches and
cowhide wingback chairs.

“We ended up having to kick everyone out,” Gregg said, laughing. “I think people would have
stayed all night.”

Courtney and Luke will have their rehearsal dinner catered at the Lodge in October and get
married in a barn outside of Nashville the next day. They love that The Lodge Franklin matches
their rustic style and the price is right.

“We loved that the Lodge is budget-friendly, especially compared to similar venues in the
Nashville area, and doesn’t tack on a bunch of extra surprise fees,” Courtney said.

“We’re so fortunate to have such a beautiful space in the heart of Franklin that is not only unique but also economical.”
